Joy Pierson is a nutritional consultant, educator and foodie, whose quest is to change people’s awareness of health and well-being, as well as its effect on the planet and future generations, by introducing them to delicious nutritious farm-fresh, plant-based food. Joy and her husband, Bart Potenza, are founders of Candle restaurants in New York and have co-authored three cookbooks: The Candle Cafe Cookbook, Candle 79 Cookbook and Vegan Holiday Cooking from Candle Cafe. Joy has appeared on The Today Show, Good Day New York, CBS News This Morning, The Food Network’s TV Food Diners and has been a radio guest on The Howard Stern Show and Walden’s Pond on NPR.
