Amy Salerno

As a Nutritional Consultant and Conference Director, Amy Salerno has been consulting on nutritional supplements and creating educational seminars and conferences for healthcare practitioners since 1998. Certified in both Chinese and Western Herbology, Amy has taught nutrition and herbal medicine classes for various Continuing-Ed programs, and has lectured for various organizations including Breast Cancer Options and Oxford Health Insurance company. She has won various awards, including the 2010 and 2015 XYMOGEN MVP award for creating and executing successful educational events. Amy studied nutrition at Syracuse University.

A graduate of the Traditional Chinese Healing Arts Academy, Hiroe Mimi Takeuchi is now on the teaching staff and serves as the Director of the Student Clinic. She is a member of the Yoga Alliance, the Stealth Method for Reiki, and is a certified Int’l Anti-aging and Nutrition Consultant. She incorporates yoga, the arts and dance as well as anti-aging and super-aging techniques to help people optimize their health.

Monique Lang

Monique Lang is a psychotherapist, teacher, writer and healer. For over 35 years she has worked with and helped individuals, groups and communities. Trained in Internal Family Systems, Past Life Regression, EMDR, Gestalt, Psychoanalysis, Comprehensive Resource Model, Reiki, mindfulness practices and shamanic techniques, Monique brings a depth of presence and gentleness to her work with people in her counseling practice, her teaching, her writing and as leader of workshops and her Journeys to Ecuador to visit Indigenous Healers. She has served on the executive committee of the Trauma Studies Program at the Institute for Contemporary psychotherapy and is a board member of Aldea Counseling Services. She has been on the faculties of Columbia University School of Social Work, the State University of New York at Stony Brook’s Department of Child Welfare and Mercy College Department of Psychology.


Monique has presented in a variety of settings including the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies, Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, Internal Family Systems yearly conference, the Mid-Atlantic Mini conference and Good Shepherds to mention a few.
