Sandy Levine, our dear friend and one of the founders of the New York Open Center, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 28, in New York City. Sandy was an essential part of the New York Open Center carrying out its mission for the past 35 years. The programs she nurtured influenced many thousands of students and helped to change our culture at large.
All contributions to the New York Open Center will be dedicated to a scholarship fund that is being developed in Sandy’s name.
