Open Center LIVE: Planning an Inspired & Intentional Funeral – with Amy Cunningham

What You’ll Learn

On Monday, January 11th, we sit down with Amy Cunningham, a pioneering funeral director in Brooklyn. A former journalist, she was drawn to this profound work and operates Fitting Tributes, a green and holistic funeral service. To be a funeral director, at this time of Covid-19, is to be on the front lines and to experience death in the most direct and graphic terms.

In conversation with Open Center co-founder and conference director, Ralph White, Amy will discuss her experiences, and also look at innovations in green burials and fresh approaches to funerals that can truly honor the passage of a life.

Amy Cunningham is a faculty member of the Integrative Thanatology Certificate Training Program. The next session of the training starts on January 15th. Click HERE for complete details.
