Medical Aid in Dying

WITH Corinne A. Carey, Esq of *Compassion and Choices

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

An Evening Workshop
Thursday, January 13, 2022, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm ET

Faced with a terminal diagnosis, adults deserve the full range of options for care at the end of life, including medical aid in dying. Medical aid in dying allows terminally ill adults to get a prescription they can take to end their life peacefully. Currently legal in eleven jurisdictions across the country, many states, including New York are considering legislation that would allow this as an option. Join us to learn more about the practice, the safeguards and the role for those in the end of life care field when this option is available.

*Compassion & Choices is the nation’s oldest, largest and most active nonprofit organization committed to improving care and expanding choice at the end of life. The organization works towards a society where people receive state-of-the-art care and a full range of choices for dying in comfort, dignity and control.

Note: This program will now be offered online. It will be recorded and shared with registrants after each online program for three months (90 days).
