David Crow, L.Ac., graduated from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1984 and is a California state licensed acupuncturist. He is nationally certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. David has been a clinician, consultant, researcher and educator for over 30 years. He is the author of four books, including In Search of the Medicine Buddha and Sacred Smoke. David is the founder and owner of Floracopeia, Inc., a company devoted to supporting sustainable ecological agriculture through the production of essential oils.

Kathryn Davis, who has 30 years’ experience as a teacher of qigong and other meditation and energy healing systems (including: Reiki, EnergyFieldology™, Toltec shamanic healing and the Cherokee-based Sandlin Technique), is certified by the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and has engaged in extensive study in both the U.S. and China. Albert Garcia-Romeu, PhD, is a member of the Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences faculty at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Rick Doblin

Rick Doblin

Rick Doblin, PhD, is the founder and executive director of the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). He received his doctorate in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, where he wrote his dissertation on the regulation of the medical uses of psychedelics and marijuana and his master’s thesis on a survey of oncologists about smoked marijuana vs. the oral THC pill in nausea control for cancer patients. His undergraduate thesis at New College of Florida evaluated the potential of psychedelic drugs to catalyze religious experiences. He also conducted a thirty-four-year follow-up study to Timothy Leary’s Concord Prison Experiment. Rick studied with Dr. Stanislav Grof and was among the first to be certified as a Holotropic Breathwork practitioner. He founded MAPS in 1986, and currently resides in Boston with his wife.
