The Energy Body Breathwork Practices (Part 2)

This is Part 2 of the Body of Breath: Breathwork Facilitator Training which consists of three parts. Parts 1 & 2 can be taken as individual classes. Click HERE for complete training information.

This program is designed for all levels from novice to advanced practitioner of breathwork. If you have no practice with breathwork, consider also registering for Breathwork Basics. Some foundational technique will be reintroduced in this module to create context for the energy body practices. The 7 main center chakra system, offers contemplation into how we interact within our individual nature and with the physical and natural world around us. Each guided practice will give you the opportunity to understand breathwork theory with creative movement inquiry designed to balance your energy body through an intentional experience of breathwork adaptations with contemplative journaling prompts for integration.

The Energy Body Breathwork Practices is a prerequisite for the full 3 levels of The Body of Breath Breathwork Facilitator training.

Who this is for:
All levels are welcome. If you experience medical symptoms or a diagnosis that may need adaptation from the instructor, please address this in the Breathwork Client Intake form that is requested upon registration.

what you’ll learn

  • Experience guided practices and theory based on the main 7 chakra system approach to energy anatomy.
  • Learn to incorporate internal and external sound techniques designed to move and balance energy in various spaces of the multi-dimensional body.
  • Understand a multidimensional body approach, with specific focus on the vital life force (subtle energy body) using the tools of breathwork, movement inquiry and guided focal point awareness.
  • Experience integration through journaling prompts and mindfulness action plans that will give you the power to take greater responsibility for your moment by moment choices.
  • Learn techniques and adaptations and designed to influence and balance your energy body. You will be given distinct questions to be used at each energy body point to open the dialogue with the subtle self. Use curiosity and witness approach to understand how these practices interact with the physical, mental and wisdom bodies as a result.

Ashley Ludman is a breathwork therapist and educator. Graduating with a degree in Occupational Therapy in 1995, her experience in neurotrauma and acute care rehabilitation informs her current offerings. In 2001, she opened Seaside Yoga, in Wilmington, NC, while training Yoga teachers and specializing in Yoga Therapeutics. In 2010, relocated to Nosara, Costa Rica, where she now lives and offers Breathwork Facilitator Training Programs both through the distance and at the edge of the Pacific Ocean.
