With the continuous onslaught of extreme weather, are you finding it difficult to leave your home or apartment? Can’t wait for Spring to finally arrive? Are you experiencing extreme weather fatigue? What can you do to help yourself cope? Even a few minutes of quiet relaxation can have amazing benefits to balance and harmonize your body, mind, and spirit and get you acclimated to challenging weather changes and situations, no matter what Mother Nature is sending your way.
Jin Shin Jyutsu® Self-Care is a very simple and dynamic mind-body-spirit practice that helps reduce stress, stimulate the relaxation response, and balance fear, anxiety, and worry. Jin Shin Jyutsu® Self-Care is a balancing and harmonizing practice that uses a combination of breath and light touch (without pressure) on various places (SEL’s) on the body. These SEL’s (Safety Energy Locks) are located primarily at the joints, shoulders, knees, hips, elbows, fingers, ankles, and toes. Jin Shin Jyutsu® Self-Care exercises activate the parasympathetic nervous system and decrease the stress response. Jin Shin Jyutsu® Self-Care exercises induce the relaxation response, calm the nervous system, boosts the circulatory system, and decrease symptoms of discomfort, anxiety, stress, nausea, and fatigue.
Participants can practice Jin Shin Jyutsu® Self-Care exercises anywhere, standing, sitting, or lying down. Jin Shin Jyutsu® Self-Care exercises can revitalize, re-charge, re-energize and relax the body and the mind in as little as 5 – 10 minutes. Jin Shin Jyutsu® Self-Care exercises are simple to learn, easy to practice, and available to everyone.
