Date & Time
10:00 am - 5:30 pm
Rabbi Rami Shapiro
Blending both text study, chanting, and meditation, you will leave this workshop with a deep grounding in the metaphysics of Jewish spirituality and a firm grasp of the practices you can use to cultivate holiness in your life and the life of your community. Based on a booklet by the same name written by Shapiro, To Listen and To Love is a close reading of the Shema/Listen and Ve’Ahavta/Love passages central to Jewish liturgy which reveal a complete contemplative path to the awakening in, with, and as God and living godly. No prior knowledge of Judaism or Hebrew is required. Participants will receive a digital copy of To Listen and To Love as part of the workshop.
