Date & Time
9:30 am - 5:30 pm
One of the gifts of the ageless wisdom tradition of Theosophy and many other paths has been the clarity of its description of our inner states and hidden potentials. Although the ultimate aim of meditation is freedom and peace, human beings are complex and function on many levels and the graded path to those states of mind winds through our unevenly developed personalities. Therefore some cultivation of the personality is required in the effort toward true meditation.
In this program, we will gain an experiential understanding of the various aspects of our being. Emphasis will be placed on the all importance of mind in developing character, stillness, capacity to heal, happiness, and a state of peace in the midst of daily life. Our focus will be on meditation progressively engaging with the senses, emotions, thoughts, mind, and beyond.
