Free Intro class Thursday, February 8, 2018, 6:00 pm – Weekly Class Starts February 15
Discover how strengthening your power center of core and pelvic floor muscles opens, activates, and cleanses your chakras. Each class will consist of half exercises to strengthen your core, pelvic floor, hips, and gluteal muscles, and half lecture and discussion on the chakras, focusing on a different chakra each week. For example, when we work on our gluteal muscles, we clear our base chakra, and therefore strengthen the way we manifest our dreams into world. The exercises and teachings come from the Maya Method, a fusion technique influenced by Pilates, Martha Graham, Iyengar Yoga, and Chakra Healing Energy Work. Exercises can be done laying on a mat, sitting on a chair, or standing.
Note: Appropriate for people of all ages and skill level, and those with injuries and low back pain.
