Qigong Self-Care Training: Moving Meditation & Vibrational Self Healing

with Kathryn Davis

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

A Weekly Series
(4 Sessions) Mondays, November 15 – December 5, 2021, 7:00 – 8:15 pm ET

Qigong practice functions as an integrated foundational practice to achieve balance and well-being. The energy moves internally to dissolve accumulated stagnation, while the accompanying physical movements work to de-stress and calm the nervous system, while the breath helps to clear the mind.

The practices of Qigong Self-Care training have been chosen from Traditional Chinese Medicine, Buddhist/Bodhisattva teachings, and Taoist practices for health and longevity. All blended in and easy to do self-care practices. This series includes traditional routines for restoring and revitalizing the organs: heart, liver, kidneys, lungs, etc., and for regulating the circulation of blood and lymph.

The practice routines will include:

Washing the Buddha:
The introductory routine of Jade Body Qigong will include:
– Crane Breathing to move lymph and regulate circulation.
– Focus on awareness to integrate the radiant healing energies of the earth and cosmos in support and sustenance of your personal energetic system.
– Enhancement of the existing flow of energy by bathing vibrational healing light into the tissues of your body, while washing away energetic blocks that can cause stagnation and disease.
– Rotation the vertebrae of your spine gently, to increase flexibility and function.
– Bathing the heart to heal the past and become present.

Turtle Longevity Qigong:
This routine is a generational tradition of Taoist Qigong Master, Wang Zhe Shong which includes:
– Meditation in three phases of movements to integrate the vibrational principles gleaned from the long-lived sea turtles of the deep.

Soaring Crane Remedy Routines:
– Discharging Turbid Substances from the Liver.
– Tonification Stance for the body.
– Daily practice for circulation on internal Qi (vital life energy of the body)
