Mary Reilly Nichols
In this class, we will explore the deeper dimensions of the yogic path through meditative practices and mystical teachings, drawing from sacred texts such as the Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, and Tantras of Kashmir Shaivism. We will learn meditation methods using breath, mantra, seated posture, self-inquiry practices, and heart-opening techniques (including “Loving the Breath” and sound/vibrational methods). As we learn to apply simple yet profound Tantric strategies for tasting enlightened states of awareness, you will leave this class with practical methods that you can incorporate into your daily life.
