Join Joule and the NYC Sound Soak community in their 5th year at the NY Open Center. While relaxing on yoga mats with pillows, receive an extraordinary sound experience which is a part sound bath, sacred concert, and vocal sound meditation. Donning eye-masks that shut out the light, embark on a private inner journey. Guided by live, acoustic, therapeutic instruments including: feeltone monochords, crystal singing bowls, paiste gongs, energy chimes, rattles, tuning forks, ethereal vocalizations, and participatory vocal sounding, the listener’s experience includes reduced stress, deep inner peace, expanded awareness, altered states of consciousness, and an opening to creative ideas. Emerge feeling balanced, energized, and deeply connected to your best self!

Nechama Karp is a certified Healing Arts guide based in NYC. Specializing in Sound Healing with Gong Therapy, Nechama uses tools from her experiences with nature, shamanic elders, training and certifications in Vocal Sound Healing, Integrative Therapy- Restorative Yoga/Essential Oil Therapy/Reiki, spiritual counseling, and as a Reiki Master practicing since 2006, to access your personal emotional wisdom on a conscious level.
Gina Kijek, MA, MT-BC, LCAT is a Licensed Music Therapist practicing at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital Life Recovery Center. Gina regularly facilitates music therapy groups, sound baths, sound healing and music meditation sessions, drum circles, as well as leading meditation, mindfulness, breath, and stress-reduction practices. She is a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and plays many therapeutic instruments including crystal singing bowls.
