SELF-CARE With JIN SHIN JYUTSU® is a very simple and dynamic mind-body-spirit practice that helps reduce stress, stimulate the relaxation response, and balance fear, anxiety, and worry. JIN SHIN JYUTSU® SELF CARE is a balancing and harmonizing practice that uses a combination of breath and light touch (without pressure) on various places (SEL’s) on the body. These SEL’s (Safety Energy Locks) are located primarily at the joints, shoulders, knees, hips, elbows, fingers, ankles, and toes. JIN SHIN JYUTSU® SELF CARE exercises activate the parasympathetic nervous system and decrease the stress response. JIN SHIN JYUTSU®SELF CARE exercises induce the relaxation response, calm the nervous system, boosts the circulatory system, and decrease symptoms of discomfort, anxiety, stress, nausea, and fatigue.
Participants can practice JIN SHIN JYUTSU® SELF CARE exercises anywhere, standing, sitting, or lying down. JIN SHIN JYUTSU® SELF CARE exercises can revitalize, re-charge, re-energize and relax the body and the mind in as little as 5 – 10 minutes.
