The Open Center blog gives the organization and its contributors the opportunity to connect with our audience and inspire thoughtful conversation and engagement. The blog provides our community with free, valuable content that complements our program offerings and promotes our faculty and events. The tone of the Open Center blog is service-oriented. We strive to provide our audience with original content that enlightens, inspires and provides relevant, actionable tips and tools.
Be a leader: As a member of our community, we are appealing to you to be a leader in this interactive space by contributing an original piece of content in support of transformation, curiosity, your mission or upcoming class offering (if you are an Open Center teacher).
Jump into the conversation: The Open Center blog is the hub of activity and communication between the Center, its facilitators and teachers, and the audience of engaged participants who attend our classes and visit our site. As a contributor, you have an opportunity to interact directly with community through comments on the site and various social networks.
Exposure: In addition to providing valuable insight to our audience, your content will serve as a publicity tool, driving traffic back to your website.
Promotion: Your content will be visible to our more than 40,000+ followers, subscribers, and fans.
Our content is service-oriented: Share something original, even personal, accompanied by practical tips. Offer your readers some relevant, actionable tips or tools they can implement now.
Keep it Simple: Posts on the Open Center blog should not be more than 1,000 words. No pressure to write another dissertation. We want to offer our readers something short and simple, to which they can relate. So, consider this your permission to keep it simple.
Promotion protocol: You will naturally receive the benefit of personal promotion by way links to your site in your bio and your name on the Open Center blog. You can include any other books and products in your bio, only.
