I am just like many women, with multitude of responsibilities. I also managed to squeeze in an episode of breast cancer, three years ago. Though I practiced Reiki for 10+ years, it was my own personal inquiry that helped me recognized the supportive elements in my life that helped me live with having cancer.
Here are three important inquires that will anchor your healing journey. They will be explored in my class Healing Ways for Cancer, at the Open Center on June 15 at 9:30am.
Become aware of the “consciousness of cancer:” Recently, I asked what does the ‘consciousness of cancer’ has to teach us. Unknowingly, I had been walking and speaking with the consciousness of cancer for last few weeks. And, recently, I finally saw ‘him’ in a vision.
For me, he was an easy-going mild-mannered young man. He could have been a younger version of John Denver. I was shocked because I would never have imagined a young man representing cancer! He said to me, “you and others have mis-understood me….” I have been knowingly conversing with him since then.
From my walk with this ‘cancer representative’, surprisingly I learned that I will be ok if I have cancer again.
Have a conversation with cancer: Through the energetic work of Constellation, I invite you to have your walk and a conversation with cancer. Who would cancer be? Someone you know? Or perhaps a surprising manifestation as the young man in my vision. What would your cancer representative shared with you? What would it tell you about yourself in relationship to cancer?
Be open to your own journey: Healing ways for cancer differs from person to person. What do you need to learn about cancer? It may very well be different from the person sitting next to you.
As a group coming together to have this walk with cancer, you may also be tasked to share your walk with your fellow classmates. As many of my students understand, our energetic field is very important. Whether we are Reiki practitioners or not, we are healers for those that come into our energetic field. I invite you to bring your curiosity, your openness and even your fear and uncertainty to class. Allow the group to be there for you. What you learned is never lost, for your understanding and/or healing ways will always rise as healing possibilities for others when need be.
