Traditional Chinese Healing Arts: Health Coach Certificate Training is a year-long, 2-part professional training focusing on classical Chinese Herbal Medicine, Oriental Dietetics and the Taoist Healing Arts.


This program was designed to de-mystify Chinese Herbalism and Oriental Dietetics for the western practitioner and give a working knowledge of terminology and protocols that can be successfully applied to complement your healthcare practice or improve your overall health.


This series will teach students how to diagnose and treat patient/client symptoms by nourishing the body with specially prepared plants, herbal extracts, animal extracts, minerals and more. Part I, a 5-month series, focuses on The Art of Healing with Food, while Part II, a 7-month series, focuses on The Art of Healing with Herbal Medicine.


Learn to incorporate herbs, healing foods, Tai Chi, QiGong and healing meditations into your clinical practice and everyday life. The approach used will help to de-mystify Chinese Herbalism, Oriental Dietetics and healing Taoist practices for the western practitioner and give a working knowledge of terminology and protocols that can be successfully applied to your practice as well as improve your own overall health.

Drew DiVittorio, Dipl, is a nutritional consultant who maintains a private practice in Chinese Medicine and the Taoist Healing. He is currently the founder and primary instructor at the New York Institute of Herbal Medicine & Nutrition, a one-year professional training program in classical Chinese herbology and nutrition. Drew was an adjunct associate professor at the University of Bridgeport Acupuncture Institute for 10 years, is currently on the teaching staff at the New York Open Center, and teaches in the Green Medicine program.
