Date & Time
6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Join us for a special evening of ceremony at the beach, under the light of a full moon.
Note: In order to maintain the safety of our guests, we will be following all recommended social distancing regulations during this event. Masks are required to be worn by all attendees. Limited Enrollment.
We’ll meet at Brooklyn’s Brighton Beach where we may partake in a beautiful water blessing and cleansing, and in a sunset and moon rise ritual. Shamanic healer and teacher Olivia Olkowski guides us in working directly with these elemental forces – the spirits of the water, earth and fire – and especially with “Mama Killa”, or Mother Moon, whose medicine invites a balancing of the divine masculine and feminine energies within each of us. Come experience the healing power of community, and of connecting to the sacredness of the natural world.
**Pre-Registration by 5pm July 31 is required; do to limitations for public gatherings early registration is recommended.**
Note: Details of our outdoor location and travel instructions will be given to registered participants in the days prior to the event (be sure to provide your cell number when registering).
Please allow yourself plenty of time to reach Brighton Beach (the beach is an hour’s subway ride from the Open Center) and plan to arrive no later than 6:30 pm. Staff will be available to guide participants to our meeting spot and settle in before the start of our sunset ritual. We unfortunately cannot wait for late arrivals.
If you wish to participate in the water blessing, please prepare yourself by wearing your swimsuit under your clothing, if possible.
What to Bring:
