Every healing system needs methods to diagnose illness or imbalance. The most ancient of all healing traditions is shamanism used to diagnose illness in the body. Often achieved by journeying into “non-ordinary states” of the spirit world to find the causes and cures to heal someone.
In this workshop we’ll focus on several diagnostic techniques used in this tradition, which will include: developing connections with spirit helpers (power animals, inner teachers and guides, etc.); scan and perceive the “three bodies”; egg diagnostic readings; develop intuitive hands; “read” the flames of candles; body scanning; energy gazing; stones for divination, and more. We will practice a hands-on method with others and leave the class ready to use these techniques on ourselves, our family and friends.
Note: Please bring a clear glass – no markings, and 4 brown eggs. A PDF handout will be sent after class. Recommended reading: Shamanic Healing by Itzhak Beery.
