Improve your ability to listen by developing musical skills and vocabulary under the masterful guidance of Chris Cherney, an award-winning educator and composer. Chris creates a safe, nonjudgmental environment in which we demystify scales, chords, and intervals, as well as read and improvise music.
You will learn a holistic and integrative approach that unifies the intellectual, physical, and emotional aspects of music.
Each class will explore:
•Rhythm through movement
•Pitch through singing and listening
•The combination of pitch and rhythm into melody
Join us to sing and have fun! After all, we play music, we do not work music.
