Jennifer Cory is the Associate Director of the New York Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology (NYCAPP) program at the NY Open Center, a psychotherapist in private practice in Red Bank, NJ, and chair of the board of an 85-year-old, 3rd generation logistics corporation. An educator on topics that range from the intersection of positive psychology and resilience in chronic illness, to the brain-exercise-depression connection, Jennifer draws on her clinical mastery and business acumen in merging positive psychology with systems theory, cognitive-behavioral problem solving, and insight development to teach individuals and organizations how to thrive. Passionately driven to helping others identify and cultivate resilience and meaning in their lives, particularly in the face of significant challenges, Jennifer is helping to redefine what it means to flourish. A lifelong learner, poet/writer, and spiritual enthusiast, she holds a Master of Science in Advanced Clinical Practice from Columbia University School of Social Work, and a Master of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.
