Meet James Roberts, a Tennessee native, spent the last 10 years in New York City studying and working as a performer in theatre, film and television.

How did you become interested in this line of work? (tell us a little bit about your background)

I got into storytelling because I wasn’t finding fulfillment in my work in theatre, and I was tired of waiting for other people to tell me when I could and couldn’t perform. I’m from Tennessee, but I spent the last 10 years living in New York City, working in theatre, film and television.

Please share a wellness tip or word of advice that relates to the workshop you will be presenting.

Your authenticity is your superpower.

What or who inspires you? (This could be anything from your mentor to your favorite quote)

I’m inspired by people who honor their intuition and create new paths of success for themselves and those around them.

What personal or professional accomplishments are you most proud of?

I’m proud of performing in two Broadway National Tours (Hair, The Producers) and creating my yoga business (jjamesrobertsyoga.com).
