Laurel Chiten – Filmmaker
Homeopathy has been around for over 200 years and today is used by millions worldwide. Yet it remains one of the most controversial systems of medicines. Homeopathy uses minute doses of a highly diluted substance to stimulate the body to heal itself. To many, this process seems implausible. They fear it is purely a placebo effect or worse, a form of deception or quackery.
Just One Drop explores the controversy, reveals the rich history, dispels myths and misconceptions, and asks whether or not homeopathy has been given a fair shake. It will inspire audiences members, both advocates, and skeptics, to ask questions and have an open and frank discussion about this system of medicine Ultimately, it is a film about freedom of choice in healthcare.
