with Catharine DeLong

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

In this introductory class, we will create a safe space where meaningful interaction with the death-positive movement can unfold. Students will be introduced to thanatology, the study of death and dying, through film, poetry and live music and explore their motivations for participating in this field of inquiry. Students will become familiar with the Integrative Thanatology program syllabus and the requirements for certification.
