with Dra. T’Karima Ticitl

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

A Free Afternoon Event
Monday, March 8, 2021, 1:00 – 2:00 pm ET

Dra. T’Karima Ticitl is an Indigenous woman on the East Coast, specializing in midwifery and with the Peyotl medicine, a plant used in prayer in the Native American Church, chapter is called Teo Kali Quetzalcoatl.

Dra. T’Karima will speak about the empowerment of women, and then share a ceremonial blessing for women who are struggling, and meeting challenges of oppression across the world, from indigenous women to women in societies who work for women’s rights and gender parity.

The ceremony  includes an opening and closing to the directions (of which there are many more than four), in her native language; which originated from the Danza Indigenous Mexica traditions of Mexico, with prayer, songs and love and respect.

Note: You may join in by setting up an altar with representations of the four elements: fire, water, earth and wind, including stones, crystals, plants or artifacts that are important to you or are part of your work, to offer women worldwide.

Note: This program will be offered online. Sessions of all our online programs will be recorded and shared with registrants after each is completed for 90 days.
