Chris Cherney & Eileen Moran will host an informal “Open House” for the Integrative Sound Program with several alumni to share their experiences and insights from the program.

Topic highlights include:

    • You’ll hear alumni discuss the differences they experienced from in person to virtual learning.
    • They will be available for Q&A about the in’s & out’s of the program.

Chris Cherney

Chris Cherney is the Class Mentor of the Sound and Music Institute. He is also a two-time cancer survivor, who has used sound and music to guide his healing. He has been musical director and conductor for the Duke Ellington Orchestra, as well as playing with Drifters, Bo Didley and other greats of American music.

Eileen Moran
Eileen Moran, Sound and Music Institute alumnus, is a certified therapeutic sound practitioner, director of programs at You Can Thrive! Foundation, and founder of Architects of Experience, a retreat and event production company. She cocreated the monthly practicum lab for the Integrative Sound and Music certificate program at the New York Open Center with Chris Cherney, and is now a course coordinator.
