We are often unaware when events from our past are creating issues for us in the present. Trauma is held in the body and can manifest as anxiety, depression, blocked creativity, struggles with intimacy, and more. In this workshop, under the guidance of an experienced and certified practitioner, you will practice two body-based therapeutic processes.
Core Energetics is a body-based therapeutic process that utilizes the breath and other physical techniques to find and release blocked reactions that are frozen in our musculature, and returns us to our center, or core.
Trauma Release Exercise (TRE®) activates the neurogenic tremor, a gentle, involuntary mechanism that releases stress patterns in the nervous system.
Both methods will help you learn to identify when you are navigating your life by way of past reactions and threats, and to feel more present, centered, and grounded in your body—and in your life.
