The New York Open Center will be closed temporarily for all in-person programs and events until further notice to support efforts to contain the coronavirus (COVID-19). In the meantime, we are working quickly to offer many of our programs online so we can continue providing what our community needs during this uncertain time.
While we have had no confirmed reported cases of the virus connected to the center, we feel this is an important preventative measure that must be taken in order to ensure the health and safety of our community.
We are following the guidance of NYC health officials and the CDC and will remain in close communication to provide updates as they become available.
For the rest of the month, the best method for contacting the Registration Department is by emailing registration@opencenter. org. You can also call 212-219-2527 Ext. 2, phone hours vary daily, leave a voicemail if there is no answer and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
While our physical space may be temporarily closed to the public, we’re still here to help you continue your work, wherever you are. The beauty of spiritual practice and holistic living is that it can be done anywhere.
To review the most up-to-date list of programs we’re now offering online in the coming weeks, please visit opencenter.org/onlineprograms. Please check back as we will be adding more programs soon.
The Open Center is also proud to announce its new initiative: New Yorkers for New York, a free public service created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure all frontline, essential workers and anyone struggling with stress and anxiety receive the mental and emotional wellness support they need.
