Presented in Partnership with Centered Wealth
Jina Penn-Tracy & Stuart Valentine
Interest in Socially Responsible and Impact Investing has been expanding in recent years. Globally, more money than ever before is being invested with life-giving rather than life-harming intentions. And research is showing that integrating values into the investment process does not harm returns. However, there is an opportunity that may be missed if this type of investing is not approached in unison with a deeper look into the Self. When money is viewed as the imaginative tool that humans use to exchange energy and create our manifested reality together, the process of Conscious Financial Planning and Investing can then lead to the experience of Centered Wealth. This is where inner alignment and external expression are more in harmony with each other and our interactions with money become more integrated with our full selves.
In this presentation, investment advisors Jina Penn-Tracy and Stuart Valentine, co-founders of Centered Wealth, will be presenting the Centered Wealth Tree model, an integral approach to the financial planning & investment management process. In this model we move from the inner world of the individual into investment in the future we wish to manifest together. Jina Penn-Tracy and Stuart Valentine co-founded Centered Wealth in 2017. Both have practiced Conscious Wealth Management since the early 2000s.

Jina Penn-Tracy, Financial Advisor, Jina’s business career began with developing a successful import company from the ground up. As she grew her business, Jina saw a need for advisors who understood the complexity and sometimes cyclical nature of financial planning around small business income. She sold her business and set out to become such an advisor. On the personal front, after winning a battle with cancer in her early twenties, Jina became acutely aware of issues of chemical contamination and the fragile interconnectedness of personal health and the health of our planet. She wrote extensively for local media on topics of consumer action, environmental contamination and the impact of personal choice on the planet. Much like consumer advocacy, the investment choices we make can strongly impact corporate decision-making. Marrying her two passions, Socially Responsible Investing became a commitment as she grew her financial planning practice. After working as a square peg in the traditional financial services arena for many years, Jina founded Raeheart Financial in 2007, dedicated to offering comprehensive financial planning services with a focus on sustainable, responsible and positive impact investing. In 2010 Jina joined an alliance of SRI advisors and in 2017 she and Stuart Valentine established Centered Wealth to more effectively serve clients in manifesting a healthy and sustainable life and global environment through the organizing power of money, finance and investments.
Stuart Valentine, Financial Advisor, Stuart has played an active role in the Green Private Investment sector of the Sustainable, Responsible and positive Impact (SRI) movement since 2000. From 2010 – 2014 Stuart served on the drafting committee of the Transforming Finance Group, founded by Hazel Henderson, which is an initiative to advance deeper integration of the biomimetic principles underlying life with the economic models and tools used for investment decision making. He serves on the Research Advisory Board of Ethical Markets Media in the area of social venture capital and sustainable community development. Having written an article series on SRI and its relationship to the Hero’s journey, Stuart is often invited to speak nationally about the conscious investment process and megatrend drivers behind the growing green economy. Stuart is also a co-author of Imagining Philanthropy for Life: A Whole System Strategy to Transform Finance & Grow True Wealth (2017). The book explores a new operating system for an expanded model of philanthropy which combines entrepreneurship with a more integrated ethic of giving.
