This program introduces the principles of how to combine herbs and essential oils to create simple and effective formulas that safely and effectively treat common health challenges.
Principles and formulas will be given for common conditions of the respiratory, digestive and musculoskeletal systems, relaxing and energizing the nervous system, balancing the female hormonal system and detoxification purposes.
By the end of the program, students will be able to discuss the reasoning and rationale behind combining herbs and essential oils, list and match compatible combinations of herbs and essential oils, select and develop appropriate formulas for treatment of common health challenges, and use essential oils safely.
Note: This program is appropriate for all levels.

David Crow, L.Ac., graduated from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1984; he is a California state licensed acupuncturist and nationally certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
He has been a clinician, consultant, researcher and educator for over 30 years. He is the author of four books, including In Search of the Medicine Buddha and Sacred Smoke. Along with his wife Sara Crow he is the founder and owner of Floracopeia, Inc., a company devoted to supporting sustainable ecological agriculture through the production of essential oils.
