Coaching for Transformation is being offered by Leadership that Works in partnership with the New York Open Center. It is the only coaching program offered in New York City that is approved by both the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the New York State Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision (BPSS).

COACHING FOR TRANSFORMATION EQUITY, ACCESSIBILITY, AND SOCIAL IMPACT SCHOLARSHIP
Leadership That Works offers a limited number of partial scholarships for its coaching training, based on financial need; the potential to reach economically diverse, underserved populations; and the potential social impact of enabling more individuals to become certified professional
coaches in their communities. Up to 16 scholarships from $500–$3,500 will be awarded per 9–month training.
Eligibility requirements: Annual income of $75,000 or less, and continued enrollment in the 9–month training.

School of Holistic and Professional Learning Standards- School Policies
School Policy on Leave of Absence, Class Cuts, and Make-up Work
Students are required to attend all weeks of instruction. If a student has an emergency situation that causes the student to miss all or part of a week that student must notify the teacher as soon as possible in order to arrange a make-up session. Leaves of absence are not available.
Standards of Progress
Students will receive a pass/fail at the end of the course. This will be based on teacher evaluations and exams which will receive a numeric grade on a scale of 0 to 100.
A student who cancels within 7 days of signing the enrollment agreement but before instruction begins receives all monies returned with the exception of the nonrefundable registration fee.
After 7 days, a student will be liable for: the non-refundable registration fee, plus tuition liability as of the student’s last date of physical attendance. Tuition liability is determined by the percentage of the program offered to the student (see chart below for this program),
If a student needs to withdraw from a program and would like to request a refund, the student should contact the Registration
Department Manager via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The failure of a student to notify the director in writing of withdrawal may delay refund of tuition due pursuant to Section 5002 of the Education Law.
Credit for Previous Education
This program does not grant previous credit.

Kim Fowler, PCC, ORSCC, has provided individual, team, and organizational systems coaching to social justice, education, and arts organizations for almost 20 years, following nearly 20 years of management experience in the nonprofit, government, and academic administration sectors. She is also a trainer and facilitator, and has been on faculty of Leadership That Works since 2011. Kim believes in the natural world as healer and teacher, and that places that challenge us, whether experiences of identity oppression or long-held dreams that seem too far to reach, are the source of our greatest strength and contribution.
Mary Kuentz, PCC, CPCC, a professional coach since 1999, Mary is known for her passion, calm clarity, humor, and ability to quickly get to the essence while holding the big picture. Influenced by the wisdom traditions, Mary brings a holistic approach to coaching and facilitation, seeing every situation as an opportunity for deep transformation. She is a seasoned leadership coach, helping organizations become more conscious and responsive to the needs of the world.
Ana M. Polanco, JD, PCC, Using ancestral wisdom, emergent strategies and an equity approach, Ana facilitates conversations that help others get naked with their own emotions and renegotiate with their inner critics. Realigning our inner worlds is the first revolutionary act to activate our freedom and define our story. As a coach and strategic advisor, Ana collaborates with people and organizations to embrace their freedom stories which activate a transformation in themselves and the communities they are a part of.
