ABOUT THIS PROGRAM


A One-Day Workshop

Saturday, September 25, 2021, 10:00 am – 5:30 pm ET


Please join us for this fun yet informative workshop introducing Traditional Chinese herbal medicine and the Taoist Healing Arts. Chinese Medicine is governed by the universal principles of balance and harmony expressed in The Tao. This workshop includes an overview of the history of Chinese Medicine and Taoism.


Each student will be introduced to the basic terms and concepts: Five Element, Qi, Jing, Shen and the immune system and TCM terminology. Most important we will discuss the 4-Constitutions as they relate to excess and deficiencies, tongue and pulsed indications, specific food, herbs, recipes and tea for each of the constitutions.


In addition we will introduce the basic concepts of Taoism and the 5 – Element Theory as it relates to our emotions, our organ systems, the taste of food, different colors and diagnosis. Moreover, we will introduce the basic movements of Tai Qi and Qi Kung, and each student will receive a tongue diagnosis.

Note: This program will be offered online. Sessions of all our online programs will be recorded and shared with registrants after each is completed for 90 days.

TRADITIONAL CHINESE HEALING ARTS: A HEALTH COACH CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

This program is part of the Traditional Chinese Healing Arts Health Coach Certificate Program Part 1, which can be taken individually without further commitment or used as your first day of the Certificate Program Part I. If you decide to join the training after attending this one day program, we will deduct the amount paid for this workshop from the overall training fee. Students who attend this program will have the option to skip Day 1 of the training (October 16).

Drew DiVittorio, Dipl, is a nutritional consultant who maintains a private practice in Chinese Medicine and the Taoist Healing. He is currently the founder and primary instructor at the New York Institute of Herbal Medicine & Nutrition, a one-year professional training program in classical Chinese herbology and nutrition.

Richard Anton Diaz is the director and co-founder of the Traditional Chinese Healing Arts Academy, a certified teacher in the Universal Tao system founded by Master Mantak Chia and a professional Health Coach and Practitioner certified with the Trinity School of Natural Health.
