Free Intro on Wednesday, March 18 at 6:00 pm – Training starts April 1st
Breathwork is a powerful tool that has been used for healing and transformation by both ancient and modern healers. In this facilitator training, you will learn the theory of breathwork from a Yogic and Tantric (non-dual) lens, along with modern day practices that will support you and your students to arrive at heightened states of awareness, balance the nervous system, dislodge stuck energetic patterns and repattern traumatic “life stories.” Chakra development theory will be guided through physical and meditative movement to give the facilitator a foundation for personal work that can then be translated to support for offering 1:1 sessions. Also included in this foundation course are discussions, partner mirroring exercises and integration circles to build confidence in what it means to hold space for a therapeutic interaction.
Additional curriculum includes:
- Holding space: creating a safe and effective support for personal and professional breathwork experiences
- Observing and working with archetypes
- Introduction to basic physical grounding techniques
- Therapeutic journaling and art integration
- Setting effective boundaries for personal and professional relationships
- Professional development considerations
Please note that there is preparation reading, and a group ZOOM call that will precede the first class. Please register early to begin the practices and preparation work. To ensure an in-depth learning and healing experience, registration is limited to 20 people. 36 hours Yoga Alliance continuing education credits can be offered for full participation.
