Chakras are energy vortexes which fuel your body similar to oil fueling the car’s engine. Here are tips on how to enhance the effectiveness of chakra balancing in order to fully activate their healing power.
Normally, chakra balancing protocol is taught in a specific sequence. It involves balancing it by first moving stagnant energies out of the chakra (clearing) and then inviting new energy into the chakra (balancing). As per this protocol, chakra clearing is performed in the upright direction starting from the Root chakra, followed by the second, moving consecutively upward and ending with the seventh chakra. To clear the chakra, slowly circle the palm of your left hand over the chakra in the counterclockwise direction. After clearing is complete, balancing is performed with the right hand and direction is changed to a clockwise. This allows channeling fresh energy into a chakra.
If you are working with a client, before starting a healing session mentally connect to your client’s body and ask permission to interact with his/her subtle energy fields. You must remain totally nonjudgmental and present in order to receive biofeedback from the body.
In some cases the body can resist healing frequencies which creates opposition to positive energy interventions. This often happens due to unconscious scripts created by the unconscious mind in order to ‘lock’ specific energy patterns for the purpose of survival. Such patterns could be originated in a past life, during the prenatal period or at the time of a trauma that may have occurred in current life. These fight/flight responses can block positive energy fields from entering the body. An experienced practitioner should be able to notice this resistance through visual observation (registers) or muscle-meridian energy tests.
In order to turn off this fight/flight response, the primal energy system, called Triple Warmer, must be deactivated. Triple Warmer is responsible for keeping old habits, dysfunctional energy patterns, and addictions and it can be extremely resistant to positive changes.
Here are a few methods which help to turn off the body’s fight/flight response so it can be more receptive to accepting healing energy:
Have the patient to lie face down on a massage table, place your right hand on their lower back and your left hand on the middle back (heart chakra). Gently rock the patient’s body for about 5-10 mins. Ask him/her to take several deep breaths while you perform the rocking. This deactivates the fight/flight reaction, discharges excess energy, and helps the body to be more receptive to shifts.
Develop Sensory Awareness
Remember, there are no fixed protocols when it comes to energy healing. Every person has a unique set of energies with their own intelligence. Mentally scan the body and ask which area is calling for attention. Move on to that area and become aware of it with all your senses.
As you become present, you will notice that each energy center speaks its own language and can ‘call’ you into a specific area. When you notice this call, move your hands over that area and ‘listen’ with your hands. Imagine that you are an antenna which receives psychic clues and kinesthetic messages. These messages are as real as the physical body in front of you.
These subtle messages are communicated in various ways. You might feel a tingling sensation in your hands, changes in temperature, moments of deep sadness, joy, or overpowering anxiety, anger, and images from the patent’s childhood or past life. You could also feel a warm sensation in the heart area, waves of happiness, gratitude, or feeling of deep peace and connectedness.
As you connect with these energies, you will begin receiving their guidance to move in certain directions or to connect them with other energies in the body. For example, sometimes the energy in the Root chakra ‘tells’ that it ‘wants’ to express itself thru the Throat chakra in order to release suppressed pain or anger.
Observe the changes by listening to your own body’s responses and looking at your client’s physical registers: change in breathing pattern, temperature or density of energy in the area, muscles activity, involuntary body twitches, or rapid eye movement. This usually means the energy is moving and re-patterning.
Attending to your subtle energy fields requires being present and having no expectations. Trusting that Divine Consciousness is in charge, your job is simply to observe and listen, not to modify anything or control the flow.
Developing these skills will make you more attuned to yourself and others as well as nurture the most reliable system ever created. If you are in harmony with your own energy, external forces cannot easily throw you out of balance. This coherence will allow you to be more at peace with yourself and the outside environment.
