The Reiki System of gentle, non-invasive healing touch, is one of the most in-demand complementary modalities in the U.S. and around the world. Increasingly accepted and used in hospitals, hospices, spas and wellness centers, because it is so effective at stimulating the body’s natural healing processes, supporting mental and emotional healing, and providing an overall sense of profound well-being. In this one-day workshop of learning basic Reiki for self-healing, we will: receive a guided-imagery meditation; an “attunement” (spiritual blessing); reflect on experiential self-awareness exercise; and learn basic daily self-care treatment
Learning the basic hand positions for daily self-healing treatment is the foundation of a Reiki practice. A self-treatment can be used to improve and maintain one’s well-being; balancing and centering the mind/ body/spirit system; reduces stress; increase internal energy flow in the body; strengthen immune response and reduce symptoms associated with rheumatoid arthritis, hypertension, allergies, and other chronic illnesses; and enhance the ability to access inner guidance and help to navigate day-to-day life more effectively. This is a powerful health-boosting method and one of the few practices that can really empower you to heal yourself.
