Acupressure Essentials: How to Open Your Energy Channels to Boost Your Health & Wellbeing

with William Kaplanidis

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

According to traditional Chinese medicine, there is a network of channels (“meridians”) running through the human body in which our life force (qi) circulates. Along these channels, there are key “acupoints,” focal points at specific locations on these energetic pathways that, if stimulated in the correct manner, can help regulate and balance the body, mind and spirit.

In this class, we will first receive a brief theoretical overview of how these acupoints can offer us access to both the physical and emotional aspects of ourselves. We will then learn acupressure techniques for specific points located on the head, torso, and limbs and the function and potential benefits of each point will be clearly explained.

Join the highly experienced acupuncturist and martial artist, William Kaplanidis, to discover how you can use acupressure techniques to help address a wide range of symptoms and ailments, including pain, digestive problems, nasal congestion, eye strain, headaches, PMS, anxiety and depression. No previous experience is necessary.
