Walter Beebe (Chairman)
Walter Beebe has served as a director of charitable organizations including the International Abraham Fund, Bank Street College of Education, the Interfaith Center of New York, Temple of Understanding, Sunbridge College, Westar Institute and the Near East Foundation. In 1982, he founded the NY Open Center and served as its president until 2013. During his legal career from 1965 to 2005, he was also a director of the publicly traded New Jersey Steel Corporation and other for-profit corporations.

Charles G. Houghton, III is a board member of the Carey Center for Global Good in Rensselaerville, NY and a director of the W. P. Carey Foundation, a private foundation in NYC. He is the former President of the Electric Launch Company, a builder of environmental electric motor boats and served as the youngest Executive Director of the Missouri-Illinois Bi-State Development Agency, which managed the St. Louis region’s bus and light rail systems, airports, river ports, and the Gateway Arch. He also has served as Chairman of the Anne and Charles Lindbergh Foundation.

A former Vice President of NBC News, his television documentaries have been broadcast on public, commercial and cable networks worldwide and have received every major award for broadcast journalism. Jeannette Watson Sanger created Books & Co on Madison Ave in 1977 and was its proprietor until it closed its doors in May 1997. She is a trustee of the New York Society Library since 1991. Jeannette is a Level 4 practitioner of Healing Touch, studied yogic laughter with Vishwa Prakesh and is a Certified Laughter Leader. She is a graduate of the Four Winds School: Healing The Light Body where she learned ancient Incan shamanic healing techniques.
