Regardless of age or physical limitations, everyone can learn self-healing and maintenance techniques with Yamuna® Body Rolling. YBR® (the name commonly used) organizes the body’s systems in a way that allows relief from pain and an increased range of motion. The commonly accepted belief that as you get older, you get stiffer and lose mobility is not part of Yamuna’s belief system. Melanie believes everyone should be able to achieve his or her personal best at every age.
Using props created by Yamuna®, learn routines that take you through the entire body. A few of the benefits of YBR®:

Melanie Sloan, LMT, YBR, MS, is a Certified Yamuna Body Rolling Practitioner, NYS licensed Massage Therapist, Yoga Alliance registered Yoga Instructor and a retired NYC Special Education Teacher. In addition to having a private massage and Yamuna Body Logic practice, Melanie teaches Yamuna Body Rolling and Yoga classes. She believes that practicing Yamuna’s Body Rolling Techniques keeps her body injury free and thus enables her to continue giving massages, doing Body Logic sessions and instructing Yoga. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and teaching Yamuna’s Body Rolling Techniques to others so that they too can remain injury free.
