Ellsworth W. Chytka

A passionate advocate for the land, water, animals, and indigenous people's sacred sites and burial grounds, Ellsworth Chytka has devoted much of his life to sharing Native American wisdom so that others can find spiritual balance and help restore and preserve Mother Earth. Come join this open-hearted carrier of ancestral wisdom (including the powerful sacred hoop teachings) passed down orally from generation to generation, as he offers us inspiration and guidance to help us address the crises that face us all in these challenging times.

Ellsworth W. Chytka
Ellsworth W. Chytka, an Ihanktonwan Lakota, is a sought-after counselor, lecturer and spiritual teacher who has spoken at the U.S. Congress, correctional facilities, religious organizations and schools around the world. Twice elected pro-tem chair of the Yankton Sioux Tribe during periods of extreme turmoil, he currently serves as the tribe's spokesperson for cultural resources and as chair of the Yankton Sioux Environmental Commission and its treaty council.
