Ingrid Saxon
In this class we will work with the Controlled Relaxation method developed by Ingrid’s father, David Sorin-Collyer, which has been used by thousands of singers, actors, dancers, and speakers, including many celebrities, to get the most out of the vocal instrument with the least amount of effort. Controlled Relaxation draws from medical, artistic and yoga approaches to help us condition our reflexes and develop both excellent posture and relaxed flexibility, so we can coordinate our muscles in the right combinations to maximize our vocal potential. Come discover how your breathing can really support your voice, so you can sing and speak effortlessly and joyously.
Free introductory class on Thursday, January 5, at 6pm.
