Tantra is a path that uses sexual energy and deep intimacy to reach profound spiritual states. Join us in a safe and supportive space in which we learn to open our hearts, relax our minds and raise our sexual energies in order to guide conscious pleasure through our bodies. Using the tantric practices of meditation, breathwork, sound and movement, Carla explores the healing of communication through intimacy, the nature of loving boundaries and the effect of breath on the nervous system. This workshop is particularly valuable for those new to tantra and also for individuals or couples who want to get in touch with their inner lover. The daylong journey culminates in a ritual to empower our visions. This workshop is for both hetero- and homosexual couples and singles. Singles can pair up for the experiential portions of the class, if they feel comfortable doing so.
Note: Wear comfortable clothing. Although explicit sexual activity is not part of the program, survivors of childhood sexual abuse may find some of the methods emotionally challenging.
Note: In order to keep an accurate count, please indicate if you are part of a couple when registering (give partner’s name).
