Lori Landau: Elemental Soul – Impressionistic Photography that Brings Spirit to Light

Filed under Art and Creativity, Open Center Gallery.

Elemental Soul, 2010

Lori Landau’s diverse body of work explores the intimate connection between meditative and creative states. Through her painterly lens, nature manifests as a visual poem. Her photographs illuminate the impressionistic essence of water, trees, wind and the soul within. With a deep reverence for the natural world, Landau uses her camera to capture an instant of the enigmatic spirit of her surroundings.

As a professional photographer, writer and artist, Landau has published poems and articles, and shown her art and photography in several group shows. She is certified to teach yoga and meditation, which she draws on to lead conscious creative writing workshops that harness the power of meditation, Eastern Philosophies and visual and language expression. www.consciousnesscreativity.com
