Denis Ponsot
An award-winning, widely exhibited artist for more than thirty years, Denis Ponsot has worked in all media, but he likes watercolor best. This course is designed to demonstrate and share all the “shop tricks” of watercolor painting that Denis has accumulated over the decades. Beginning, intermediate and experienced students will all learn how to avoid pitfalls, advance their painting technique, and receive guidance on developing their own style. Demonstrations of color and design, and wet-on-wet and dry brush techniques, will be included. Students can paint from still-life, photographs, or their own subject matter. Each participant will receive individual attention.
Note: A list of materials will be supplied upon registration.
