Storming Heaven: The Techniques of Shamanic Ecstasy

Storming Heaven: The Techniques of Shamanic Ecstasy

Date & Time
10:00 am - 5:30 pm

Alberto Villoldo, PhD

According to shamanic teachings, we live in a dream and wake up only to find ourselves in another dream, but the shaman is someone who learns to dream with his eyes open, to conjure the world into being each day. If you do not learn how to envision your world into being each day, you are condemned to remain caught in patterns beyond your control, trapped in the genetic and psychological history of your ancestors with no say over your own destiny.

Today we will learn techniques of shamanic ecstasy that can free us from this unhealthy legacy and give us power over our own bodies and minds. Through lecture, inquiry, and safely guided shamanic journeys, Alberto Villoldo will show us how to make peace with what Jung called “the shadow” by recovering and befriending those parts of our soul that have been lost to childhood trauma or lifelong stress, and thereby restore our physical and emotional health.
