John Lloyd and Karl Lorenzen
Sacred geometry constitutes a common ground between many of the world’s cultures and traditions. Its language of number and symbol can be used to express profound ideas about the nature of existence. This course teaches the vocabulary and alphabet of sacred geometry, and shows participants how to use the circle, triangle, square and spiral to construct sacred space. We will draw on patterns from Morocco, the Vedic tradition, stone circles and medieval rose windows and examine the geometry of both living forms and the solar system.
Note: Please bring a compass, ruler, pencils and a pad of paper for the drawing exercises.
