Crochet: Fun, Creativity and Meditation-One Stitch at a Time |
Crochet is about choice: you can get into a meditative rhythm as you stitch or sprint to the finish line just ahead of a gift deadline; you can follow a pattern, modify an existing one, invent your own, or do without one at all. Crochet is easy and fast to learn.
In this class, we will get a thorough grounding in its basic stitches and pattern and symbol reading, and from there, the sky is the limit. We will have the option of focusing on more advanced stitches, free-form, yarn substitution, crocheted cables and/or color work. We will each complete at least one item of our choice by the end of the class.
Note: Please bring solid, light-colored, smooth worsted or DK weight yarn and a G or H crochet hook.
A WEEKLY COURSE (6 sessions) Thursdays July 10–August 21, 6–7:30pm No class on July 24. 08SAC01T Members: $185 / Nonmembers: $200 [CLICK TO REGISTER]
