We will use the teachings of the Spanish mystics, Teresa of Avila and John of the Cross, to help us harness the power of deep sorrow and loss for spiritual transformation. Combining Teresa’s insight about "the beautiful wound" of spiritual longing with John’s brilliant guidance through "the dark night of the soul," we will meditate on how these teachings can help us transform our shattering into increased aliveness. The format followed will be similar to the morning workshop.
