 The New York Open Center has rental space available for lectures, performers & professional organizations holding seminars or training programs.
We are located in the heart of SoHo, surrounded by some of New York�s finest art galleries, restaurants and shops. There is off-the-street parking within one block, and we are only a short walk away from Chinatown and Little Italy. Within the Open Center there is a Wellness bodywork center, and a popular bookstore. Our well-lit rooms have a seating capacity of up to 100 people. All rooms have high ceilings, a lot of character, and either polished wood floors or wall-to-wall carpeting.
During the Summer we have rental space available throughout July and Aug for daytime and evening events. Rooms are available throughout the year, but on a more limited basis. We welcome businesses who seek a less formal setting for meetings and gatherings.
Prices for room rentals range from $80 to $110 per hour. Day rates can also apply.
We also have extensive equipment availavble for rent that can accommodate most basic presentation and audio/visual needs.

 THE TEAHOUSE
A classic example of a SoHo loft, this dramatic double height sky-lighted ground fl oor space seats 90+ and includes a small stage, a grand piano, sound system and gallery lighting, with 800 square feet of fl oor space. When the Center is in session it is used as a gallery and a place for concerts and lectures.
Hourly Rates:
$80 per hour - non-profit rate
$110 per hour - private/commercial rate
Day Rates (10AM-5PM):
$500 - non-profit rate
$700 - private/commercial rate
 THE STUDIO
Our largest room, at 1050 square feet, the Studio is a long rectangle with a dramatic brick wall and south-facing windows overlooking Spring Street. A polished wood fl oor and a alcove of mirrors make it an ideal space for dance, yoga or any kind of performance rehearsal. As a lecture hall the
room accomodates 90+.

$80 per hour - non-profit rate
$110 per hour - private/commercial rate
Day Rates (10AM-5PM):
$500 - non-profit rate
$700 - private/commercial rate
 THE CONFERENCE ROOM
This more intimate space, at 700 square feet, has an abundance of natural light from south-facing windows, wall-towall carpeting and high ceilings. It seats up to 60 comfortably.
Hourly Rates:
$70 per hour - non-profit rate
$100 per hour - private/commercial rate
Day Rates (10AM-5PM):
$450 - non-profit rate
$600 - private/commercial rate
 THE WELLNESS ROOM
A large skylight and plants give this smaller meeting space a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Appropriate for 10 to 25 people, has wall-to-wall carpeting. Availability is limited to mostly evening and weekend use.
Hourly Rates:
$40 per hour - non-profit rate
$65 per hour - private/commercial rate
Day Rates (10AM-5PM):
$600 - non-profit rate
$800 - private/commercial rate
