Charles di Cagno
In this class, we will learn to face our fears of speaking in public in a supportive environment. Moving in manageable steps, at our own pace, we will gradually be exposed to answering simple questions while seated until we are comfortable, then learn to do so standing. From there, we will learn how to free our bodies with the effective use of gestures and movement, until we feel ready to move to both impromptu and prepared speaking. We will have the opportunity to simulate and practice virtually any speaking situation we are likely to encounter in personal and professional life, including conversation, reading aloud, employment interviews, panel discussions and handling confrontation, and many other situations.
